Rebuilt Elbow Shell Prosthesis, also known as an elbow joint replacement or elbow arthroplasty, is a surgical procedure where a damaged or dysfunctional elbow joint is replaced with an artificial implant. The elbow joint consists of three bones: the humerus (upper arm bone), the ulna (inner forearm bone), and the radius (outer forearm bone). During an elbow arthroplasty, the damaged portions of these bones and the surrounding tissues are removed and replaced with artificial components.
